Paint and drunken boyfriends...
Not MY boyfriend anyway...
So we started painting our livingroom BRIGHT blue. It looks sooo awesome. ANYWAY. So Ashley, Alex, and I painted our livingroom all day on Saturday, it was so much fun. We needed more paint brushes, so Alex ran to the store while Ash and I painted. Well we're painting, and I look up, and Al is standing at the window staring at me IN THE POURING RAIN. And he brought the bag in, and was like "you HAVE to come out here." The parking lot was SO FLOODED. And Ashley was like "LET'S GO PLAY IN IT!" so we went out and the water came up to the middle of my shins. We splashed around and stuff, and it was so gross, but it was so much fun. So we got back to painting and Ashley's boyfriend, Chris came over and brought beer and Bacardi Silver for all of us. Reen came over to help and we all had a great time. WELL, Chris drank like 7 beers (3 of which he stole from our fridge that Hamesh gave to Alex). Needless to say, he passed out, and we couldn't wake him up. So like 30 minutes later he woke up mumbling. He got up and started walking toward the fireplace, and Ashley grabbed his arm and asked him what he was doing, he swatted her off and kept walking, and she asked him again, and he was like "leave me alone, I HAVE to PEE!" And she grabbed his arm and yanked him away from the fireplace (that I'm pretty sure he was planning to pee in,) and said GO TO THE BATHROOM. Well he yanked his arm away from her again and was like LEAVE ME ALONE I HAVE TO PEE, and she yanked him back again and said GO TO THE DAMN BATHROOM, CHRIS. He shoved her and went out to our patio where he proceeded to pee. He came back in and she grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the living room, and told him to go to bed. He walked toward the kitchen (which I think he thought was the front door,) and stated that he was leaving, so she yanked him back and loudly told him to go to bed. He yanked away from her, so she shoved him into her bedroom and told him to go to bed and slammed the door behind him...
It was quite a scene, so I got up early to chew him out. I told him that he's not welcome here anymore if he does that again, and he's not allowed to drink here anymore. OH MAN, I'm so pissed about it. And Ashley isn't really even mad about it because she's USED TO IT. How horrible is that?! Ugh, I'm so sick of her dating him.
I'm so happy to have Alex. He's my best friend, and he's absolutely wonderful. I love him so much.

It's been a while, I know...
It's been a while. Not a lot of people read my blog anymore, so I kinda stopped blogging. I know that's not what it's all about, but I like it when people read my blog. 
So I'm sitting here in my new apartment. I'm so happy. I love it here. I live with Alex and Ashley, my two best friends. It's so nice. We're having so much fun figuring out how we're going to paint everything, but it already looks awesome just because we got really awesome furniture, and I brought all my art that my brother made for me and my personal art also, and it all ties in really well. I AM SO EXCITED. And I already feel more relaxed just because I don't have to worry about going from Alex's house on Lovell Rd. to my parents' house in Halls. And I'm not living out of my backpack anymore. I actually have all my clothes and all my makeup so it's back to normal Rachel again. Maybe even new and improved Rachel! Hmmmm....
I work at Best Buy now. I've been there about a month and a half. I just got Kate a job there and I think I'm gonna help Steph get one. I really love it, they're sooo nice and they really care about all the employees. I don't know a single mean person that works there. They are completely encouraging about everything. AND and our last store meeting, we dunked our managers!!!!

carSo I filled out a Best Buy application yesterday online, and they called me back like 4 hours later. I had an interview today... it went well, and he asked me to stick around for a second interview... that was great too. I was extremely outgoing and optimistic about everything, and they seemed to be really impressed. I actually applied for sales, and cashier second, but the lady that called me said they only had a cashier position open. So the second guy that I talked to asked if I would be interested in sales at all, and I would MUCH rather do that than cashier. So he walked away, came back and asked me where in the store I'd like to work, and I said anywhere, but I really love cameras. He said he had seen me over there looking at them earlier, so he walked away to see if they had any openings in the camera department, and he came back and said "Well where I'd REALLY like to put you is in the home entertainment section selling the really expensive tv's and stuff." And I was like yeah! that's fine with me! And he told me that they don't have full-time openings right now and that I would be making more than I asked for so they could compensate for that (I asked for $7.25). So he offered me the job, and let's just say that what he offered me is definitely A LOT more than what I asked for. (I'm not supposed to tell how much ). He said not to tell b/c of the difference in pay there and he said that he was offering me so much b/c they talked it over and they felt that I would be a good asset to the company and they're willing to invest that much in me. I'm sooooo excited! I'm getting paid a lot, and it's still part-time so my summer won't be wasted away working!!! YAH!!!!!
Aside from that, Ashley, Alex, and I went and looked at the apartment on Tuesday, and it was awesome. We're so excited. We're probably going to give them a deposite soon to hold one for us so we can move in by August.
I'm so glad I have a job now, we definitely just spent about $1000 fixing my car. AND they tried to scam us!! Alex's friend told us where we could get some used stock struts and springs for cheap, so we did that, and he put them on there for me. The springs that were on my car were definitely fine AND they were expensive aftermarket springs! The owner of the shop has a Prelude also, so they were going to charge me like $1000 for the new struts and springs and to put them on and everything, and then they were going to keep my nice Iboc springs!! So we wasted some money. All I REALLY needed was new shocks and a camber kit!!! AND my car would still be lowered if we had done that! Oh well, I'm gonna save up and get that stuff later and just sell those new struts and springs. Geez!
My brother is coming home on the 30th of this month, his b-day. I'm sooooooo excited!!!!! Well I believe I'm going to go...

Well, I'm feeling a lot better.
School is over with for the year. I can't tell you how relieved I am. Now I'm just sitting on pins and needles waiting for my grades. I can only make 1 'B' or 2 'B+'s to keep my scholarship. I have to make at least a 3.75 or else I can't move out. I REALLY want to. So pray for me! :/ I worked REALLY hard this semester for it, hopefully my work will pay off.
I was really upset about finding out about Kate's possibility of moving out w/ Scott, but I've been thinking about it, and I can't get too upset about it, because I love Kate to death, but if she would rather live with him, I don't want her to live with me if that's not what she wants. She said it's just an option, but I dunno, Heather seems pretty set on it. Maybe that's just Heather though, I dunno. And I mean, that's really great that they re-found their best-friendship. So if Katie decides to move in with Scott or Heather, Ashley REALLY wants to live with Alex and me, which would be really awesome b/c we've always talked about living together since we were little. So either way, I'll be living with a good friend.
I got a ticket today... the cop said I was going 82 in a 55, and then he said he'd drop it to 74 in a 55, but I know for sure that I wasn't even going 74!! First of all, my radar detector did not go off, I slammed my breaks before I got to him, and he was just pulling off of the side of the road, so he was facing forward- he wasn't looking backward, and he wasn't even holding a radar gun. On top of that, he couldn't have paced me he didn't have time to get up to 74 or 82. Heather's mom said she would work on it and see what she could do to get me out of it. And I also called Whitney Patton b/c her dad is a cop- she said that if it was a city ticket he could get me out of it, so hopefully he can. But if they can't, then I"m going to court to contest it b/c that's bs!!
I also had to take my car to the shop yesterday b/c the brakes were making really weird noises. It turns out that the calipers weren't releasing b/c there was something wrong with the hose. So they had to replace the hose, brake pads, and rotors. Then my radiator was cracked, so they had to replace it. THEN, they realized that my tires were so bald that metal was coming out, so I had to get new tires. AND THEN, they realized that the reason my tires were so worn out is because the previous owner lowered the car the cheap way- instead of getting a kit, they heated the coils to drop the car, which threw the alignment off, and they had put all this stuff on there to try and fix it. So my tires have negative camber (the tires tilt inward at the top). So I'm gonna have to get new coils and struts to fix it. Without that last part added on, it was about $1000 to fix, and it'll be about another $1000 to put the coils and struts on! My mom is so pissed at the guy we bought it from b/c the shop said that I'm really lucky we brought it in b/c I could've had a blowout at any moment!! Anyway, I'm really blessed that the brake thing happened and caused me to take it to the shop when I did, and that nothing happened to me before then. Yay! So I'm happy about that! (not the money though.
)
So anyway, I'm gonna try and find something to do, I'll probably unpack all my junk from the dorm.
